ARC Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research (CEPAR)

In mid 2010, the social sciences gained a major boost when, for the first time, a major multi-million dollar grant was awarded to an Australian business school. The grant, based at the Australian School of Business (ASB), brought together an international team of researchers in an inclusive, multidisciplinary organisation for which authoritative, evidence-based thought leadership was a primary factor in its ability to address the serious issues of an ageing population.

Peter Campbell Design was engaged to undertake the development of a comprehensive new brand for this dynamic Centre of Excellence. Brand workshops, desk research and conceptual design informed the development of its brand attributes.

Taking the ideal of clarity, the notion of new perspectives and the elemental form of a circle, we devised a brand wordmark for CEPAR that provides the organisation with a powerfully memorable logo, and dynamic graphic approach that sets it apart from its competition.

The critically important website, Annual Report, marketing collateral, stationery and signage form the first round of integrated brand development.

With a move to new premises, signage was redesigned to suit.
